Extract from the terms of service:


7.1 Wear & Tear
Minor cosmetic marks, scratches, or other superficial signs of normal usage that do not affect functionality are considered “wear and tear” and incur no charge.

7.2 Accidental Damage (Camera Bodies)
For accidental damage to a camera body (e.g., if it’s dropped), you may be charged up to £99 per camera or the actual repair cost, whichever is lower.

7.3 Accidental Damage (Accessories & Microphones)
Full replacement value may be charged for accidental damage to accessories or microphones (e.g., water-damaged microphone, cracked lens filter) if they become inoperable.

7.4 Negligence, Misuse, Loss, or Theft

  • Lost or Stolen Items: You are liable for the full replacement cost of any Equipment (cameras, lenses, microphones, batteries, cables, etc.) lost or stolen during your Rental Period.
  • Negligent or Intentional Misuse: Any damage caused by negligence or misuse will also incur full replacement or repair costs, at our discretion.

7.5 Invoicing for Damages
If we determine that damage or loss has occurred, we will provide an invoice detailing the costs. You agree to pay any damage-related invoices within 14 days of issuance.

7.6 Inspection & Communication
We inspect the Equipment upon return and will notify you of any issues within a reasonable time. You may contest findings, but our decision shall be final, acting reasonably.
